Ghobadi Pour et al. 2011||Shell strongly ventribiconvex to almost planoconvex, slightly transversely suboval in outline with a hingeline shorter than maximum width at midlength and with a rectimarginate to very weakly unisulcate anterior commissure. Ventral interarea low, apsacline; dorsal interarea linear, anacline. Radial ornament finely ramicostellate. Ventral interior with thin, divergent dental plates. Ventral muscle field subtriangular, deeply impressed, almost confined to the bottom of the delthyrial cavity, open anteriorly. Adductor and diductor scars of about equal length. Mantle canal system with vascula media slightly divergent anteriorly. Dorsal interior with a simple, ridge-like cardinal process bisecting a narrow notothyrial platform merged with low, broad median ridge. Brachiophores short, slightly divergent. Dorsal adductor muscle field weakly impressed. Anterior and posterior pair of adductor scars of about equal size.|
