Lepicerus georissoides

Taxonomy
Haplochelus georissoides was named by Kirejtshuk and Poinar (2006). Its type specimen is OSU B-C-21, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

It was recombined as Lepicerus georissoides by Jałoszyński and Yamamoto (2017); it was misspelled as Haplochelus georyssoides by Kirejtshuk et al. (2023).
