Lepichelus pretiosus
Taxonomy
Lepiceroides pretiosus was named by Kirejtshuk and Poinar (2013). Its type specimen is Poinar B-C-46, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin Amber (Poinar collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
It was recombined as Lepicerus pretiosus by Jałoszyński and Yamamoto (2017); it was recombined as Lepichelus pretiosus by Kirejtshuk and Poinar (2017) and Kirejtshuk et al. (2023).
