Taxonomy
Atelelasma dorsoconvexum was named by Cooper (1956). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2½ miles southeast of Riceville, Calhoun, which is in an Ashbyan marine shale in the Edinburg Formation of Tennessee.
