Oxoplecia monitorensis
Taxonomy
Oxoplecia monitorensis was named by Cooper (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 117111a, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is On the saddle just north of hill 8167, Martin's Ridge, which is in a Mohawkian carbonate limestone in the Copenhagen Formation of Nevada.
