Leptellina (Leptellina) minor was named by Cocks and Zhan (1998) [= 1936 Leptelloidea (Leangella?) cf. derfelellsis Jones; Reed: 43, pI. 4, figs 24-25. = 1936 Leptelloidea (Leangella) cf. sholeshookensis Jones; Reed: 43, pI. 4, fig. 28.]. Its type specimen is BC 52418 and is a 3D body fossil.
