Chinlestegophis jenkinsi

Taxonomy
Chinlestegophis jenkinsi was named by Pardo et al. (2017). It is not extant. Its type specimen is DMNH 56658, an other (partial skull with lower jaw and disarticulated postcrania). Its type locality is Main Elk Creek, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian floodplain siltstone in the Chinle Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Chinlestegophis.
