Chinlestegophis jenkinsi
Taxonomy
Chinlestegophis jenkinsi was named by Pardo et al. (2017). It is not extant. Its type specimen is DMNH 56658, an other (partial skull with lower jaw and disarticulated postcrania). Its type locality is Main Elk Creek, DMNH loc. 1306, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian crevasse splay siltstone in the Chinle Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Chinlestegophis.
