Holotype: The secundibrachial, Pl. 11, Fig. 6 (Verniory 1962b, fig. 6); length 2.2 mm. Musum dHistoire Naturelle de Genve (repository number in Decrouez & Proz, in preparation).

Paratypes: Radials, Pl. 11, Figs. 12 (Verniory 1962b, figs. 12); secundibrachial, Pl. 11, Fig. 4 (Verniory 1962b, fig. 4). Musum dHistoire Naturelle de Genve (repository numbers in Decrouez & Proz , in preparation).

Taxonomy
Saccocoma longipinna was named by Hess (2002). Its type specimen is (in MNHN Genéve) and is a 3D body fossil.
