Taxonomy
Aulostomus fractus was named by Danil'chenko (1960). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Belaya river, upstream of Abadzekhskaya (PIN collection 4705), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Russian Federation.
