Taxonomy
Mesobaetis crispa was named by Sinitshenkova (2017). Its type specimen is PIN 5340/172, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Khasurty (PIN collection 5340), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
