Aporthophyla aurora

Taxonomy
Strophomena aurora was named by Billings (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pointe Riche, which is in a Whiterockian shallow subtidal horizon in the Table Cove Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Aporthophyla aurora by Cooper (1956) and Cocks and Rong (1989).
