Germarostes emarginatus

Taxonomy
Ceratocanthus emarginatus was named by Poinar (2014). Its type specimen is Poinar C-7-21, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

It was recombined as Germarostes emarginatus by Ballerio and Grebennikov (2016) and Poinar and Ballerio (2017).
