Taxonomy
Bronnothyris danaperensis was named by Bitner and Müller (2017). Its type specimen is UDB 193 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UDR1-UDR5, Rybalsky Quarry, Dnipropetrovsk, which is in a Priabonian coastal sandstone in Ukraine.
