Phalangichnus alternans

Taxonomy
Phalangichnus alternans was named by Schmidt (1959). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Rotenburg RoR 1 a+b, 2, 3, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. It is the type species of Phalangichnus.
