Sanjuanophis froehlichi

Taxonomy
Sanjuanophis froehlichi was named by Sullivan and Lucas (1988). Its type specimen is UNM J-105, a set of vertebrae, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UNM locality 33A, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the San Jose Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Sanjuanophis.
