Taxonomy
Ceratites mojsisovicsi was named by Roth (1871).

It was replaced with Hungarites zalaensis by Brack and Rieber (1993); it was considered a nomen nudum by Roth (1871); it was recombined as Hungarites mojsisovicsi by von Mojsisovics (1882), Spath (1951), Vörös and Pálfy (1989), Tongtherm et al. (2016) and Vörös (2018).
