Caproberyx superbus

Taxonomy
Beryx superbus was named by Dixon (1850). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southeram (Dixon collection), which is in a Turonian carbonate chalk in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Caproberyx.

It was recombined as Hoplopteryx superbus by Woodward (1902); it was recombined as Caproberyx superbus by Patterson (1964).
