Gonolkites was named as a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Gonolkites convergens.

It was reranked as Parkinsonia (Gonolkites) by Zatoń (2010).

It was assigned to Parkinsoniidae by Arkell et al. (1957) and Besnosov and Mitta (1993); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Parkinsonia by Zatoń (2010).
