Taxonomy
Ammonites wuerttembergicus was named by Oppel (1857). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Oraniceras wuerttembergicus by Besnosov and Mitta (1993); it was recombined as Parkinsonia (Oraniceras) wuerttembergica by Zatoń (2010).
