Taxonomy
Oxycerites (Paroecotraustes) subtenuis was named by Mitta (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/3162 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sarykamysh district (top Tangiduval Fm, retrocostatum zone), which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Tangiduval Formation of Uzbekistan.
