Oxysphinctes kubanense

Taxonomy
Oxysphinctes kubanense was named by Besnosov (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dzhangura Mountain, Kuban River (lower upper Dzhangura Fm, subfurcatum zone), which is in a Subfurcatum marine horizon in the Djangura Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Oxysphinctes.
