Taxonomy
Procerites (Procerites) lissajousi was named by Besnosov (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/1229 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kyzylalma, Kugitangtau range (upper Tangiduval Fm), which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Tangiduval Formation of Uzbekistan.
