Taxonomy
Ammonites arbustigerus was named by d'Orbigny (1846). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R04190 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Wagnericeras arbustigerum by Besnosov and Mitta (1993); it was recombined as Wagnericeras (Suspensites) arbustigerus by Enay et al. (1994).
