Taxonomy
Pseudogarantiana daghestanica was named by Besnosov (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/2319 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Irganay, Dagestan (basal Tsudakhar Fm, subfurcatum zone), which is in a Subfurcatum marine horizon in the Tsudakhar Formation of the Russian Federation.
