Taxonomy
Ebrayiceras kjarisensis was named by Besnosov (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/1979 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kyariz Mountain, Bolshoi Balkhan (upper Tasharvat Fm), which is in a Parkinsoni marine horizon in the Tasharvat Formation of Turkmenistan.
