Taxonomy
Erymnaria cubensis was named by Cooper (1959). Its type specimen is USNM 549385 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Palmer Loc. 4707, Chucho Machin, which is in an Eocene carbonate limestone in Cuba.
