Taxonomy
Rhynchonella washingtoniana was named by Weaver (1912). Its type specimen is CAS 7374, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Terebratulina washingtoniana by Hertlein and Grant IV (1944) and Cooper (1959).
