Taxonomy
Terebratula maxima was named by Charlesworth (1837). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Park Pit, Sudbourne (Walker collection), which is in a Zanclean coastal siliciclastic in the Coralline Crag Formation of the United Kingdom.
