Taxonomy
Lichas menieri was named by Chatterton and Ludvigsen (2004). Its type specimen is GSC 122173, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AN22, which is in a Rhuddanian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Becscie Formation of Canada.
