Taxonomy
Calymene nowlani was named by Chatterton and Ludvigsen (2004). Its type specimen is GSC 122387, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AN42, which is in an Aeronian/Telychian open shallow subtidal lime mudstone/mudstone in the Jupiter Formation of Canada.
