Ponerites tauricus
Taxonomy
Dolichoderus tauricus was named by Dlussky (1981). Its type specimen is PIN 287/343, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Malyi Kamyshlak, Kerch, Crimea (PIN collection 287), which is in a Langhian marine shale in the Argun Formation of Ukraine.
It was recombined as Ponerites tauricus by Perfilieva et al. (2017).
