Taxonomy
Diacalymene gabrielsi was named by Siveter and Chatterton (1996). Its type specimen is UA 8282, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Fauna j, Section AV2, Delorme Fm., Mackenzie Mts., which is in a Whitwellian slope limestone/shale in the Delorme Formation of Canada.
