Leptacodon acherontus
Taxonomy
Leptacodon acherontus was named by Secord (2008). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 19957, a mandible (Left dentary with p3-m3 (m1 talonid only)), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cedar Point Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
