Mazonopsocus testai
Taxonomy
Mazonopsocus testai was named by Prokop et al. (2017). Its type specimen is FM TVT1991, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (FMNH Testa collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Mazonopsocus.
