Illaenus tianrongi
Taxonomy
Illaenus tianrongi was named by Zhou et al. (2014). Its type specimen is NIGP 155128, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NJ660, Yijianfang section, Bachu area, which is in a Darriwilian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks/chert in the Yijianfang Formation of China.
