Microparia (Paramicroparia) acuta was named by Zhang (1981). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GSXU-XTR 273, a cephalon/head. It is the type species of Microparia (Paramicroparia).
It was recombined as Paramicroparia acuta by Jell and Adrain (2002); it was recombined as Microparia (Microparia) acuta by Zhou et al. (2014).
