Taxonomy
Calymene tingi was named by Sun (1931). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NI 3455 [selected by Zhou et al 1984], a cephalon/head (cranidium). It is the type species of Calymenesun.

It was recombined as Calymenesun tingi by Kobayashi (1951).
