Taxonomy
Hemiarges ethnikos was named by Lane et al. (1980). Its type specimen is MGUH 15079, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is boulder erratic, Newmann Bugt, which is in a Pridoli marine sandstone in the "Polaris Harbour" Formation of Greenland.
It was recombined as Richterarges ethnikos by Adrain (1994).
