Semantor macrurus

Taxonomy
Semantor macrurus was named by Orlov (1932). Its type specimen is 2440, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pawlodar City, right side of Irtysch River, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial mudstone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Semantor.
