Taxonomy
Bronteus andersoni was named by Etheridge and Nicholson (1879). Its type specimen is HM A138 [lectotype selected by Howells 1982], a cephalon/head (cranidium with 9 thoracic segments), and it is a mold.
It was recombined as Scutellum andersoni by Reed (1931); it was recombined as Kosovopeltis andersoni by Howells (1982).
