Taxonomy
Hemiarges diadayma was named by Rudkin et al. (1994). Its type specimen is ROM 46091, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Southwestern District of Mackenzie, Prairie Creek (C-655), which is in a Wildernessian carbonate limestone in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.
