Cerauroides elongatus

Taxonomy
Cerauroides elongatus was named by Kobayashi and Hamada (1974). Its type specimen is KPFM 16103, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 3. Ys 15. Gomi Quarry, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Fukata Formation of Japan.
