Apatosagittarius terrenus
Taxonomy
Apatosagittarius terrenus was named by Feduccia and Voorhies (1989). Its type specimen is UNSM 96754, a partial skeleton (right tarsometatarsus with articulated phalanges), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Poison Ivy Quarry, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the Ash Hollow Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Apatosagittarius.
