Cupes eckfeldensis
Taxonomy
Tenomerga eckfeldense was named by Tröster (1993). Its type specimen is PE 1992/461 ab LS, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 1992 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Cupes eckfeldensis by Kirejtshuk et al. (2016) and Kirejtshuk (2020).
