Trionyx minusculus
Taxonomy
Plastomenus minusculus was named by Chkhikvadze (1973). Its type specimen is IPGAS Z-13-1, a partial shell (partial hyo-hypoplastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Konur-Kura, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Paraplastomenus minusculus by Kordikova (1994); it was recombined as Francedebroinella minuscula by Chkhikvadze (1999); it was recombined as Trionyx minusculus by Georgalis and Joyce (2017).
