Trionyx ninae
Taxonomy
Trionyx ninae was named by Chkhikvadze (1971). Its type specimen is IPGAS KK-19, a partial shell (left hypoplastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kizyl-Kak, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Betpakdala Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Trionyx, Ulutrionyx.
It was recombined as Ulutrionyx ninae by Vitek and Danilov (2015).
