Hutchemys sterea

Taxonomy
Derrisemys sterea was named by Hutchison (2009). Its type specimen is UCMP 130000, a partial skeleton (nearly complete carapace and plastron, partial scapula, coracoid and pelvis), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V84153, which is in a Puercan terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.

It was recombined as Hutchemys sterea by Vitek and Joyce (2015).
