Sinuites meignannensis was named by Pillet (1992) [?Sinuites meignannensis]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Meignanne, Anjou, Armoricain Massif, which is in a Dobrotivian offshore shale in the Schistes d'Angers Formation of France.
