Sowerbyites triseptatus

Taxonomy
Plectambonites triseptatus was named by Willard (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near Goodwins Ferry on New River, which is in an Ashbyan/Blackriveran reef, buildup or bioherm wackestone/reef rocks in the Holston Formation of Virginia.

It was recombined as Sowerbyites triseptatus by Cooper and Cooper (1946) and Cocks and Rong (1989).
