Karenites ornamentatus
Taxonomy
Karenites ornamentatus was named by Tatarinov (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 2212/60, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kotelnich, Vjatka River ("Sarmin" series), PIN 2212, which is in a Severodvinian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Urpalov Formation of the Russian Federation.
